I'm a retired elementary teacher with new interests; monogramming, gardening, and now blogging. My husband and I live in northeast Mississippi, which is near Starkville, MS, the home of the MSU Bulldogs. Together we have 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
I've always heard you work harder after retirement than you ever did before. The Lord has blessed us with good health and many opportunities to do things we enjoy. I am so thankful for this. My "monogram hobby", turned business, has opened many doors for me. I stay very busy with this, and life. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Bill is a bee keeper, which takes up a lot of his time. I think he is up to 21 hives now. He is also involved with Karios, which is a ministry with people who have been incarcerated. We are both active with the Walk to Emmaus and church.
Life is good.
